Valentina i karanfil (Valentina and the Carnation) is a shop of organic, handmade, bean-to-bar chocolate from all over the world. The concept is inspired by Valentina Tereshkova, a Russian cosmonaut and Latin America the native land of chocolate. The whole identity is intended to represent the junction of these two contradictory worlds.

In branding, we used playful typography. We illustrated motifs originating from the Maya civilization and depicted Valentina Tereshkova smelling carnations, preparing herself to surge into outer space. We designed a series of merchandise displaying the word “chocolate” inscribed in different languages.
